Storage silos are large structures that allow for the storage of significant quantities of product under controlled conditions to reduce the risk of fire or explosion and to protect against adverse weather conditions. The silos are designed to store wood dust and other wood-based materials, such as sawdust, wood chips, pellets, granules, etc. To best meet our customers’ needs, they are available in capacities ranging from 50 to 500 m³ and in various shapes: cylindrical, conical, and rectangular.

Storage silos are sized and constructed with various factors in mind:
- the type, shape, particle size, and acidity of the material to be stored;
- the quantity of the material to be stored;
- specific density;
- adhesiveness;
- moisture content.
The silos can be equipped with a self-cleaning unit and filter bags at the top, which are used to filter the air fed into the filling system. A fire protection ring with special spray nozzles is located at the top of the silo, designed to extinguish a fire in the
shortest possible time. If potentially explosive dust (ATEX) is to be handled,
explosion-proof panels must be installed on top of the silo.
