Many industries have one thing in common: toxic gases or vapors are generated during manufacturing, handling, or processing. The extraction of pollutants at the point of generation is a fundamental requirement, as stipulated in Section 3(1) and Annex 3.6 “Ventilation” of the Workplace Regulations. Klepp’s filter systems, designed for solvent, adhesive, and laser fumes, are ideal solutions for the long-term and optimal extraction and filtration of harmful substances. Contaminated air is collected directly at the source using practical mounting elements. The captured pollutants are routed to the filter unit via a hose system or, depending on your needs, through a custom-designed ductwork system. Gaseous or vaporous air pollutants are “absorbed” by activated carbon filters. Absorption, i.e., the binding of gases and vapors on the surface of a solid, porous material (activated carbon). Separating different gases and vapors requires multiple layers of differently impregnated activated carbon and/or chemisorption or oxidation media. In the Klepp-KG series, filtration takes place in three separate stages: • Pre-filter • Particle filter • Gas filter The purified air can remain in the workspace. We will assess your needs on-site. Our expert team will develop a plan and a quote. We are happy to assist you from order processing through to the signing of a maintenance contract. You can replace the filters yourself or have them replaced automatically as part of an annual maintenance contract. The gas filter is always refillable.
