Like smoke, dust is a finely dispersed solid substance with varying degrees of airborne suspension. Dust collectors can be used when solid air pollutants, such as dust and smoke, need to be removed. Depending on the type and structure of the filter medium, dust collectors are suitable for a wide range of particle diameters. Their removal efficiency ranges from 90% to 99.995%. Extracting pollutants at the source is a fundamental requirement, as stipulated in Section 3(1) of the Workplace Regulations and Annex 3.6, “Ventilation.” Klepp dust filters are ideal solutions for the long-term and optimal extraction and filtration of harmful substances. Contaminated air is collected directly at the source using practical mounting elements (e.g., NW75 extraction arms). The extracted harmful substances are routed to the central filter unit via a duct system custom-designed to meet your specific needs. Starting with the KPF 810 series of Klepp filter units, filter cartridges are cleaned using electronic cycle control. During the cleaning process, individual filter cartridges are sequentially sealed with a cover, thereby removing them from the incoming airflow. Compressed air flows to the rotary vane nozzles, creating a rotating motion through the arrangement of the nozzles.
