During the soldering process, the solid and liquid phases react with each other, producing vapors, gases, and aerosols that act as air pollutants. Extracting pollutants at the source is a basic requirement, as stipulated in Section 3(1) of the Workplace Regulations and Annex 3.6, “Ventilation.” Installing particulate filters (e.g., particulate filters) upstream of gas scrubbers (activated carbon) ensures that the gas scrubbers do not become ineffective. Klepp soldering fume filters are ideal solutions for the long-term and optimal extraction and filtration of harmful substances. Contaminated air is collected directly at the source using practical mounting elements (e.g., NW50 extraction arms). The extracted contaminants are routed to the filter unit via a hose system or a ducting system custom-designed to meet your specific needs.
